Autumn Equinox 2026

Day and night in balance — the harvest alignment

21 September – 25 September 2026

The second great harmony of the year. All energy lines synchronise, creating conditions for expanded consciousness at sacred nodes worldwide. Ancient traditions timed harvest festivals and gratitude ceremonies to this window.

What is a Harmony Window?

A Harmony Window is a period of several days during which the Earth's energy lines move onto a single shared frequency. These windows recur four times a year, at the solstices and equinoxes. They are not events that anyone organises or hosts – they are natural alignments of the whole node network, observed and worked with rather than created.

At the autumn equinox day and night fall into equal length, and the Earth's energy lines settle once more onto a shared frequency. It is a window of balance and integration rather than peak intensity — a turning inward after the height of summer.

Ancient cultures timed their harvest festivals and gratitude ceremonies to this alignment, sensing the same shift that the node network makes visible. It is a natural moment for completion, thanksgiving, and release.

The window spans several days around the equinox. Sitting with the land at a sacred site during it tends to bring a settled, reflective quality — well suited to closing cycles and giving thanks.

How to take part

  • Find a sacred site near you and plan to be there during the window – higher-order nodes resonate most strongly.
  • Set aside quiet time around the peak day for meditation, ceremony, or simply sitting with the land.
  • Share what you notice with the community – field notes during a Harmony Window help map the landscape more accurately.
  • Make it a celebration – bring native flowers, spring water, song, or simply gratitude. Mark the turning of the light in whatever way brings you joy. When choosing your hour, it's worth avoiding the Void-of-Course Moon.
