What We Will Never Do

• Sell, trade, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• Track your behaviour to build advertising profiles.
• Use your content to train AI models without your explicit opt-in consent.
• Show you algorithmically manipulated feeds designed to maximise engagement over wellbeing.
• Shadow-ban, suppress, or de-prioritise your content for commercial reasons.
• Share your email address with other members, creators, or third parties.
• Retain your data after you ask us to delete it.

What We Collect & Why

We collect only what is necessary to run the platform. Nothing more.

• Account information – email address, name, and profile details you choose to share. Used for authentication and displaying your profile.
• Payment information – processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Content you create – posts, comments, photos, products. Stored to display on the platform as you intend.
• Site visit check-ins – only if you explicitly choose to log a visit. Never tracked automatically.
• Email preferences – which lists you've subscribed to and your communication choices.
• Basic analytics – page views and feature usage in aggregate. No individual tracking, no cookies for advertising, no fingerprinting.

Your Rights

These are not privileges we grant – they are rights you hold.

• Right to access – request a complete copy of all data we hold about you at any time.
• Right to deletion – ask us to permanently delete your account and all associated data. We will comply within 30 days.
• Right to portability – export your content, posts, and data in standard formats.
• Right to correction – update or correct any information we hold about you.
• Right to withdraw consent – unsubscribe from any communication, revoke any permission, at any time with immediate effect.
• Right to object – challenge any use of your data you disagree with.

Creator & Subscriber Privacy

The relationship between creators and subscribers is private.

• Creators can see how many subscribers they have but cannot export subscriber email addresses off-platform without explicit consent.
• Your subscription choices are not visible to other members.
• Purchasing a digital product does not subscribe you to that creator's email list – these are separate, opt-in actions.
• DMs between creators and subscribers are private and not used for moderation unless reported.

Hosting & Security

• Sacred Network is hosted on decentralised infrastructure provided by Edge Network – no single point of corporate control.
• All connections are encrypted via TLS/SSL.
• Passwords are never stored in plain text – only salted cryptographic hashes.
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant). We never handle card data directly.
• Database backups are encrypted at rest.
• We use no third-party analytics platforms that track individuals (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracking cookies).

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the platform to function:

• Session cookie – keeps you logged in. Expires when you close your browser or after 30 days.
• Preference cookie – remembers your display settings (theme, view mode). First-party only.

That's it. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies. No cookie banner is needed because we don't do anything that requires your consent to track.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever need to update this policy, we will notify all members by email before changes take effect. We will never reduce your privacy protections without explicit consent. Any changes will be towards greater protection, not less.
