Overview
The Squamish River corridor channels the combined energies of glacial meltwater, ancient granite mountains, and dense temperate rainforest into a flowing current of vital force recognized by the Squamish Nation since time immemorial. River nodes function as dynamic energy points where the constant movement of water generates and distributes life force throughout the surrounding landscape. Spending time near this river, one may sense the purifying and renewing quality that flowing water brings to the energetic body.

History, Archaeology & Significance
The Squamish River flows through the traditional territory of the Squamish Nation (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) in British Columbia, Canada, running approximately 60 kilometers from its headwaters to Howe Sound. The river and its valley have supported indigenous habitation for thousands of years, with the Squamish people maintaining deep spiritual relationships with the waterways and surrounding mountains. The area's dramatic geology of Coast Range granite and glacial valleys creates a landscape of exceptional natural power.
