Overview
The double-ring earthworks of Resugga create a concentric pattern that visitors often experience as a natural focusing of energy toward the centre. The circular form of the fort resonates with the many round enclosures scattered across Cornwall, suggesting a regional tradition of shaping space in harmony with natural contours. Standing within the inner ring, there is a palpable sense of containment and protection that invites quiet reflection.

History, Archaeology & Significance
Resugga Castle is an Iron Age round hillfort located in mid-Cornwall, England, distinguished by its well-preserved double-ditched circular enclosure. The site dates to approximately the third or second century BC and is characteristic of the enclosed rounds found throughout the Cornish peninsula. Its inland hilltop position provided defensive advantage and visibility across the surrounding rolling countryside.
