Overview
Hornby Island radiates a distinctly peaceful, creative energy that visitors consistently attribute to the combination of old-growth forest, crystalline waters, and the island's long history as a place of retreat. The sandstone formations and protected bays create natural spaces of shelter and reflection where the boundary between inner and outer worlds softens. Many describe a sense of time slowing and creative inspiration arising spontaneously in the island's gentle, nurturing field.
