Overview
The Ronda Dolmen sits within one of Spain's most energetically dramatic landscapes, where the deep gorge of the Tajo creates a natural channel for ascending earth energy. The dolmen captures and grounds some of this vertical force, offering a stable point of connection within a landscape of extremes. Visitors often report a heightened sense of presence and physical vitality near the monument, as though the life force surging through the canyon concentrates at the dolmen site. The combination of height, depth, stone, and water creates a multidimensional energy field that stimulates both the body and the visionary faculties.

History, Archaeology & Significance
The Dolmen del Gigante, also known as the Ronda Dolmen, is a megalithic passage grave located near the dramatic clifftop city of Ronda in Málaga province, Spain, dating to approximately 3000 BC. The dolmen consists of a corridor leading to an oval chamber constructed from large limestone slabs. It is part of the broader Iberian megalithic tradition and was likely used for communal burial and seasonal ceremony. Ronda's position on a deep gorge carved by the Guadalevín River made it a naturally defensible and spiritually significant location throughout prehistory. The dolmen's builders chose a site with commanding views and access to the river canyon's unique microenvironment.
Rory's Field Notes
Large dolmen with Type 4 node and stunning mountain views. One of the World's very few 2nd Order nodal sound intersections. These have incredibly powerful linear concentrations of low frequency spherical standing waves. Only the 1st Order nodes are more powerful and there are only 7 of them on land. There are about 50 2nd Order nodes worldwide. Some are on mountain tops, some are famous healing sanctuaries, some are linked to local religions. This one near Ronda is called El Gigante.
