Dolmen de Soto

The Dolmen de Soto is a large Neolithic passage grave near Trigueros in Huelva province, Spain, dating to approximately 3000 BC. Discovered by Armando de Soto in 1923, it is one of the most impressive megalithic monuments in southwestern Iberia, with a passage extending over 20 meters and lined with carved and painted orthostats. The carvings include anthropomorphic figures, weapons, and geometric motifs that provide valuable insight into Neolithic symbolic thought. Excavations revealed multiple burials along with grave goods including pottery, stone tools, and personal ornaments.
