Energy Node

Bryn Celli Dhu

United Kingdom

Overview

Entering the passage of Bryn Celli Ddu is experienced as a descent into a womb-like enclosure where external sensory input falls away and inner awareness intensifies. The chamber holds a dense, protective energy that many describe as deeply nurturing and transformative, particularly around the summer solstice when light pierces the darkness. The site resonates with themes of death and rebirth, and visitors frequently report heightened intuition and emotional release within its confines.

History, Archaeology & Significance

Bryn Celli Ddu is a Neolithic passage tomb on the island of Anglesey, Wales, dating to approximately 3000 BCE and built over the remains of an earlier henge monument with a stone circle. The passage is precisely aligned so that sunlight penetrates the chamber at summer solstice sunrise, illuminating the back wall. Excavations revealed a carved pattern stone, human bones, and an enigmatic free-standing pillar within the chamber.

Rory's Field Notes

A passage grave on Anglesey that was once a stone circle (circa 3000 BC) before being converted to a burial mound around 1000 years later. One pair of Type 4 lines runs through the mound, parallel to the passageway, heading up to Roseberry Topping in NE England. The pattern stone found next to the mound depicts a long winding serpent (universal symbol for energy lines) with its head on the edge of the mound – showing these lines were known. About 6km to the SW lies a 4th Order node where another pair of Type 4 lines crosses, heading towards Newgrange and Maeve's Cairn in Ireland. The stronger site was where ancestors came to pray and meditate; Bryn Celli Dhu was where they buried their dead – different energetic sites have different functions.
