Overview
Boscawen-ûn generates a distinctly creative and inspirational energy connected to the Bardic tradition of poetry, prophecy, and visionary art. The quartz-rich central stone acts as a transmitter and amplifier, broadcasting the circle's frequency across the surrounding landscape. Visitors frequently experience enhanced creativity, poetic inspiration, and spontaneous visionary imagery within the circle. The site activates the throat and third-eye centres, facilitating communication with the Otherworld and access to the Awen, the divine inspiration of the Celtic tradition. The nineteen stones create a specific harmonic that opens channels of artistic and prophetic consciousness.

History, Archaeology & Significance
Boscawen-ûn is a Bronze Age stone circle in the far west of Cornwall near St Buryan, consisting of 19 standing stones with a central leaning pillar of quartz-rich granite. The circle dates to approximately 2500 BC and is one of three stone circles mentioned in medieval Welsh Triads as the 'Three Gorsedds of Poetry' where Bardic assemblies were held. The central stone is unusual in being set at a marked angle, possibly aligned to significant astronomical events. The site was described by antiquarian William Stukeley in 1740 and has been associated with Druidic ceremony and later with the Cornish Gorsedd revival. Archaeological evidence suggests continuous ritual use from the Bronze Age through the Iron Age Celtic period.
