Overview
The Andean highlands carry an intensity of earth energy found in few other places on the planet. At altitude, the thinning atmosphere and ancient geology create conditions where visitors frequently report expanded perception, vivid dreams, and a powerful connection to pachamama (earth mother). The node likely sits on one of the ceque lines – the radiating energy paths that the Inca recognized and mapped across the landscape with precision. If you travel in this remote region, treat the marked coordinates as a starting point rather than a destination.

History, Archaeology & Significance
This node lies in the high Andes of Lucanas Province, in Peru's Ayacucho region – roughly 60 km northeast of Nazca, in the vicinity of the Pampa Galeras reserve. Its exact location is approximate: Rory marked the point on his node map without being able to name it precisely. The surrounding highlands hosted some of the most sophisticated pre-Columbian civilizations on Earth, and the Peruvian Andes contain thousands of huacas (sacred sites) spanning cultures from the Norte Chico civilization (3000 BC) through the Wari, Tiwanaku, and Inca empires. Many Andean sacred sites remain undocumented by Western archaeology but are still known and honoured by Quechua and Aymara communities through continuous oral tradition.
Rory's Field Notes
Marked on Rory's node map as 'nr. somewhere in Peru' – a 1st Order Type 5 node (Emperor Dragon intersection) whose exact location he could not name.
