The site vibrates with ancient Dreaming energy that the Bundjalung people have maintained relationship with across countless generations. Visitors often experience a dramatic shift in awareness upon reaching the headland, with many reporting spontaneous feelings of joy, clarity, and expanded perception. The convergence of ocean currents, coastal geology, and Aboriginal songlines creates an energetic vortex that activates the higher chakras and facilitates connection with celestial consciousness.

History, Archaeology & Significance
The Arakwal country around Byron Bay in far northeast New South Wales is the traditional land of the Arakwal people, a clan of the Bundjalung Nation who have occupied this coastal region for tens of thousands of years. Cape Byron (Walgun) is the easternmost point of the Australian mainland and holds profound significance as a ceremonial site and place of creation stories. The headland, beaches, and surrounding rainforest contain middens, ceremonial grounds, and story sites that form part of a living cultural landscape. The Arakwal people gained native title recognition in 2013, formally acknowledging their unbroken spiritual connection to this country.
Rory's Field Notes
Bundjalung sacred site where a female Emperor Dragon line enters the Pacific. The node sings with the old songlines – respect and bare feet on the earth essential.
